Roy Hill – Mine Site Camp
A full camp from scratch in the Pilbara
A fully integrated remote camp delivering complete living, working and service infrastructure in one solution.
The scope included 64 accommodation rooms, commercial kitchen and freezer storage, dining facilities, gym, tavern, recreation spaces, offices and laundries, supported by full site services including a bore, water treatment, wastewater treatment, effluent irrigation and a dedicated power station.
The project also included all service reticulation, commissioning and ongoing facility maintenance.

The Location
A highly remote site with no existing accommodation within 120km, creating immediate logistical and workforce challenges from the outset.
The Solution
We delivered a fully self-sufficient approach, starting with detailed design and coordination across geotechnical, topographical, electrical, mechanical, fire and structural engineering, along with environmental approvals, liquor licensing and full NCC compliance.
To support installation, we constructed a dedicated fly camp for onsite crews, ensuring works could continue safely and efficiently in a remote environment.
Water supply was secured through onsite drilling, with the first bore reaching 80m and delivering twice the required capacity.
When client requirements expanded to include accommodation for defence exercise personnel, we adapted quickly and scaled the fly camp to house 40 additional staff, maintaining momentum without compromising delivery.
